Brighton's best rotisserie chicken?
I've been on the chicken trail in Brighton for years now. I'm not talking wings, thighs, or little snack packs. I mean the whole bird, turning slowly on a spit, juices dripping like some holy relic.
I've eaten them on the beach at 3am, crouched behind the i360 like a caveman, bones scattered in the shingle. I've polished off a Morrison's bird in Hollingbury car park so dry I was spitting feathers for two days. Once carried a steaming Co-op chicken down London Road, no bag, just bare hands, the grease ran down my wrists into my sleeves, people parted like I was Moses.
So tell me straight, who's got Brighton's real champion bird? I'll walk there tonight if I have to.
