Hi neighbors,

I’m taking the leap to explore a longtime hobby more seriously and would love to offer interior design consultations to fellow design-interested neighbors to gain experience and gather feedback. I’m a hobbyist interior designer with a passion for designing interiors that honor the architectural integrity of the space - something that’s easy to be passionate about in our beautiful neighborhood!

What I can offer:

- Virtual or in-person consultations - my ask is that we start with 1-2 rooms so I can really get to understand your vision, we can ensure I’m adding value, and it’s a good style match.
- Confidence in a design approach that celebrates original architectural details and the stories our Brooklyn brownstones and buildings tell - while balancing the functional needs of modern living.
- Help with space planning, color selection, furniture selection and placement, art and decoration. (I also dabble in painting and canvas art so we can discuss this if it’s of interest).
- I definitely identify as a “vintage and secondhand hunter” - and can help track down a period piece of interest, or secondhand more affordable version of X Y Z when it comes to furniture selection.

About me:
I’ve designed my own apartments and have spent years learning about, celebrating and loving NYC architecture and design (yes, I read Brick & Brownstone for fun when I moved into this hood!). I deeply appreciate crafting spaces that honor the architecture of the “canvas” while ensuring function for seamless daily living of its residents.

See a few photos of my current place attached, if helpful.

Logistics:

- By donation—pay what feels right for the value you receive
- Initial meet & greet via video call or in-person at a local coffee shop
- I’ll provide a brief questionnaire before we meet to understand your space and goals
