A little post about appreciating this hobby.

I was just thinking to myself what a perfect salve to the digital slop economy miniature wargaming is. It seems like every company in the world right now is trying to sell a solitary and shallow experience that keeps you locked to a screen and away from real people.

With miniature wargaming, the physical and creative aspects of the hobby are so core to the experience that they cannot be touched by the digital A.I. slop economy.

We toil with the slow process of improving our little guys and terrain. Glue, paint, flock, wood, these are our creative tools.
And what does it all lead to? An in-person shared experience with friends or new friends who also enjoy the same interests.
They can’t take that from us. And I think that’s neat
