Elves were always told about the threat of Goblins, that they should be exterminated on sight to protect the Elven people, or at least for all Elves to avoid Goblins at all cost. And while these rules have been able to help protect Elves for generations, eventually, every rule must be broken.

An Elven adventuring party is travelling through the woods, they know all about the threat of Goblins, and have worked hard to avoid even coming across one, worried about what could happen, but one day, as they cut through the forest, they finally see one.

A short green Goblin, lying against a tree, his ugly face seemed permanently twisted into a face of cruel glee, and his fat gut hung over his crude loincloth that didn't manage to hide the swinging cock he had. But despite the cointless warnings the women had heard, looking ag this creature, he didn't appear a threat at all, in fact he almost looked pathetic and weak.

Maybe all the teachings they had grown up with were inaccurate, maybe they could start to build a relationship with the Goblins through this one, all they had to do was greet him.
