What’s the reasoning
Person 1: single, gets $900/mo disability, doesn’t work, snap cut down to $24 this month
Person 2: single parent, gets $1200 from disability + $250/mo for dependent(s), makes $250/mo PT income, snap unchanged, but received $20 cash this month on ebt card (never received cash before)
Person 3: elderly, gets $800/ mo social security, no other income, no changes to snap or anything else.
No recent changes reported to state by any of these folks.
Does anyone know the reasoning at the state behind these changes or non changes? Why reduce their snap to $24? Why give $20 cash to the single parent and no one else? Etc…
