Is it weird that I'm 27 and never been in a relationship?
There's a couple of reasons for this (I'm a guy by the way).
-
I don't meet many women, as I work construction with only other men, and spend my evening with male friends. After almost 10 years of not having women in my social circle, I've genuinely "forgot" how to speak to women.
-
I'm not handsome enough for online dating. I'm good looking enough to notice some women looking at me during the day, but online dating is fucking ruthless.
-
Whenever I go to a bar or nightclub with friends, I don't have the balls to walk over to a woman and start a conversation, let alone flirt and show interest. Nightclubs are for extraverts, while I'm definitely not one.
-
While walking around, I also don't have the balls to "cold approach" aka talk to random women I find attractive.
-
Low confidence and lack of self-esteem are not a good combination.
-
After being rejected around 25-30 (rough guess), I don't have the willingness to keep trying, I honestly don't understand how some men can push though.
-
On the rare occasion I do find myself talking to women, my conversations are always too dull and boring, which is the opposite of what a lot of young women (25-30) are looking for.
I 100% acknowledge that I'm the problem, no need to remind me. I'm not a virgin, but I did infact get incredibly lucky.
