Pharmacy Cashier

I am just so aggravated. I came on to Walgreens already with my PTCE, as a pharmacy cashier I am waiting for my license to be a tech for the state. But I don’t feel like the time was taken to train me at all! I’m clueless a lot of the time and I have to call someone for help. Also, everyone is so impatient and mad all the time it’s crazy, one pharmacist even slams things and crashes out almost every shift. And I mean the sad thing it’s not her fault it’s the staffing and scheduling she’s alone and has to fill and do all the vaccines and clear caps half the time we are waiting for her to do vaccines to clear consults so everything gets backed up and the lines get long. The pharmacy is jampacked and I feel like there should be two pharmacists all the way to closing. And there’s closing the duties that need to be done like deletes that we end up staying way past closing to finish. I just hope it gets better from here. A lot of the time I don’t feel like there’s enough staff there’s not enough cashiers or techs at the end of the night. Uuuuugh
