I only have one pin to get to receive Orange Bird, and it’s a two star pin. Can I get that from a purchased chest?

I’ve just needed this one two star pin for weeks now, bought several common and uncommon chests with gems to no avail. I guess I’ll drop the 6.99 if I have to, but that says “only drops rare, epic and legendary pins”
