Using your road bike during winter cold, wet, weather, fenders, and panniers or just on good weather days.

Hi, I was just curious if there are many people using their road bicycles commuting, adding fenders and a rack to their bicycle if you’re in a climate where there’s a lot of rain or it’s cold weather in the winter time. Or do you just use another bicycle for a bad weather with fenders and racks and keep your road bicycle without fenders and rack for dry days for cycling?

I always think road bicycle looks so cool without fenders and rear rack for panniers but in practical terms you need them if you want to ride in different weather conditions.
