18m. Feel guilty about NOT having hard feelings after the breakup.

Dating / Sex / Relationships (FRIDAY ONLY)

I,18M was in a relationship with a girl for almost 2 years. We spent most of our time together. Always meeting, always intimate with one another. It was like a dream, and the butterflies came and went month after month, but the love was always there. She recently broke up with me for what I believe to be a strange reason. Her parents and her invited me on holiday with them, all inclusive, and basically they would just sunbathe for the whole day. I would come down to study a lot later, around 1 to 2 pm, because I found the early sun and drinking too much and I needed to study. Also, at one point, because i was having a breakdown and an anxiety attack over some horroble memories. Apparently they took this as very disrespectful because they paid for all inclusive and expected me to be there early. I never actively hated on her family or anything, I just told her that her dad seemed a bit disapproving, because... he did. He barely said a WORD to me apart from to tell me off.

Anyway, about a month later she called me while I was on a FAMILY HOLIDAY to say she had lost feelings a month or two ago and that she wanted to break up with me, and that I "hated her family" and never treated her right. But just two weeks before she called me her soul mate and talked about marriage. It was also right after an argument where she told me if she posted herself mostly naked online other guys would give her better compliments than me, and that I never complimented her enough and she knows this because she literally made a chart of the amount of compliments I gave her.

I do not miss her. I blocked her on every platform despite wanting to remain friends. Even though I initially took the breakup super hard and cried for a day straight, now I just feel... free? Free from her neediness, the constant anxiety of texting her, free from all of it. It also helps that I have been getting a lot of attention from other girls recently, but maybe that's an unhealthy coping mechanism?

I feel genuinely guilty that I have little to no lingering feelings. It was a great relationship and went on for almost 2 years. I hear other breakup stories of people being completely destroyed, and I just feel... meh? I am worried this means none of the love was real. I guess the worry I am not feeling anything is itself a feeling, which is a bit paradoxical I know. But it just feels... strange.
