Obtaining student visa with GED?

Hey everyone I am currently applying to a language school in Japan, and need to apply for the COE.

I currently hold a GED and plan to use GED to apply to the language school (they accept it) and university later on. Though I hold a GED, I am enrolled in a homeschooling program (which is registered with the ministry of education in the country I am from) and will finish grade 11 beginning of next year.

When applying for COE they ask for your diploma and academic transcript. I will be using my GED as the ‘diploma’, though I am wondering if I can use the GED transcript for the ‘academic transcript’ or if I have to use my homeschool transcript (which is issued with the ministry of education) and/or earlier transcripts (middle school).
