ISP in Broadview. Can JB tell them to leave or call off their involvement?
I’m in Chicago. Broadview is not far from me. I’m at work and I’m outraged by what’s going on.
There’s a lot of misinformation and opinions out there, so would someone who’s familiar with the laws and chain of command tell me if the governor has the power to call off ISP from being at the protest? Was ISP deployed to counter/neutralize federal agents? Did someone else deploy them?
I understand the caution in making a rash decision as it could escalate things, but I’m a little confused as to why ISP is there and why he hasn’t called them off is he really can.
