Knull only makes folders your device can handle?

Is it accurate to say that when you set up knulli on an SD card, it only creates ROM folders for the systems the device’s chipset can actually handle? For example, if I install it on my RG35XXH, it won’t generate GameCube or PS2 folders since that hardware can’t run them?
