AITA for moving away from my mom for a house

My (24) relationship with my mother (53)has always been rocky and yet it’s been me and her for most of my life and it’s been a toxic run.

Recently she has gotten super super hostile causing fights and randomly texting me a battalion of attacks over things that are just not true.

My partner and I have had a house offer for quite some time and I have gotten tired of being abused over and over and today called my boss asked for a transfer and took the offer.

My mom finds out through a text that I would send saying fighting me isn’t going to do any good I am leaving to move to the house we initially rejected because of you.

So I called our current landlord (motel) and inquired about a refund for the room stating i was asking about the possibility and went to her room to tell her about a refund well she opens the door and gets her forehead in my face and says I know what you tried to do getting all angry saying I went behind her back to take her money.

(I didn’t if I did why would I go tell her in person that she can get a refund for my rent)

She has disowned me for moving and has made it clear I am not her “child” anymore.

AITA for moving away to be free of her?
