Can I get EPM without salary account with ICICI? Infinia seems out of reach.

Hi folks!

This is my first post here, although I am not new to this thread and have been reading multiple stories of people who got Infinia or EPM.

I have been trying to get Infinia since 1 year now, but to no avail.

I have my Regalia Gold with 14L credit limit, 10L spends in last 3 months, and salary account with HDFC since 7 years now (net salary credited more than 3L each month in last 1 year). But HDFC seems strict on the 5LPM net salary criteria, especially after July 1 this year. They are offering me DCBM though, but I am not inclined to take that due to acceptance issues.

Can I go ahead and apply for EPM (by visiting a branch)? I do not have any account or cards with ICICI, so basically no relationship with ICICI at this point.

I do not want to transfer my salary account to ICICI. Can I still get EPM? I would be OK to open a savings account or create an FD of 2-3L. I just do not want to go through the hassle of switching accounts at this point.
