did i wait too long to tell him ?

so.. tonight was my first homecoming as a freshman and i was kind of excited to go but when i got there i saw some guy who ill call blue for this with another girl id never seen before and i asked oomf like who that is and apparently it’s his girlfriend?? i’ll ask monday but anyways blue i SWORE liked me like me and him have made direct eye contact for several seconds for no reason (ik that doesn’t really mean anything but i digress), when i gave him a pencil one time he was like “this is why i like you”, when someone was like “shut up you like (my name)” he blushed and got all nervous and was like “you guys really are twins” (there was an inside joke between me, blue, one of blues friends and the guy) where me and the guy that said shut up looked alike for a while) then quickly got off the bus and a lot more but this is already getting long anyways i rlly thought he liked me but i was too scared to say anything and i thought i was getting closer to dating him this year but he shows up w some really pretty girl so did i wait too long and he thought i didn’t like him so he found someone else? he’s also never said he had a gf to any of his friends to my knowledge so wth..
