I miss dive fist, but the last patch made it clear they don't even want a "Jack of all trades", he was already an okay brawler and a bad diver and they chose to buff the brawl even more. They clearly want a Brawler.

## So... My objective here is making iron fist a fun good brawler since he's already condemned

# Why NetEase left IF like this

Fist has moves that can effortlessly reach the backline, so every DMG buff is a DMG that can easily go into the healer's HP, every sustain buff can easily help him to survive enough to kill the healers, almost all brawl intended buff can be "exploited" to be a dive buff and they are avoiding that at all costs.

## That's why they only buff the percent DMG, is the easy way they found to not buff him against healers. Every other "brawl buff" could be used into diving thanks to his movement

# What I think?

I love wall crawls and they must stay! But they need a change:

Being able to wall crawl above everyone choosing your target is SO valuable, but is frustrating when you aren't meant to dive.

As I got better I only do short wall crawls in battle **because the crawl trajectory is predictable.** I only do the long ones pre-engage and I don't extract much value from it, since I'm not supposed to dive.

Even if they are not bringing value as before, that infinite crawls are essentially the thing holding them from buffing him, because it's what makes so easy to exploit a "brawl buff".

# So my proposal is:

Limit the wall crawling time, I have been testing on my gameplays, and I had a whole lot of fun with what I believe to be 1sec per wall, so I propose 1.5sec per surface.

**He can do parkour:** if there's 2 surfaces close to each other he can jump from one to another infinitely to get higher.

# My results simulating it:

I had a lot of skill expression moments using this crawl and I incentivize you guys to also try.

He can pretty much climb to any high ground on the map and he can also reach fliers in a lot of situations (harder to reach them on certain points of the map, but keep in mind that with the brawl buffs to compensate for it, you could certainly demolish the flier once you reach them)

Our boy can still dive!

But not on the same level of course. Requires some more skill expression, more Jump economy and you lose that "analysis from above" moment.
