Neighbours just built a massive second story deck. I have a standalone ground floor laundry with a toilet in it that they now look straight into. Am I legally allowed to take a shit with the door/window open when they are on their deck?

They had the DA done before we moved in. According to my councils development rulebook it should have absolutely needed to include a privacy screen, but they somehow got around that.

I asked them to consider adding one, they told me to fuck off.

Laundry gets way too hot without a door/window open.

So like the title says, can I still legally shit with the door open now that they can see me?
