Baby suddenly has separation issues?

Our baby (14 month old) has always been a great sleeper we usually just lay her down give her a pacifier and she turns her head and goes to bed without any complaints or wakings but suddenly Thursday night we laid her down for bedtime and when I put her pacifier in she did the head turn so I walked out of her room but when I close the door she started crying super hard I watched the monitor she cried for about 5 minutes then she just laid down and I thought maybe it was gas so I went back in there and squished her belly and she just laughed so I left again and she started crying again just life before and once again she cried for tops 5 minutes then she just stopped and laid down and now every nap since then she’s done it and she doesn’t let us walk out of her sight without crying like crazy when she used to be super chill and play independently only crying when hungry or hurt I don’t know what’s going on? I thought maybe it’s too dark (usually it’s just a super dim red light) so I turned her little carousel light on and that wasn’t the issue
