*drake has finished a delivery, riverside stable had requested some sun amber to assist with lighting as the recent weather has been making maintaining the fires more difficult than normal. Alas the draconic shopkeep had gotten caught in one of these storms*

*drake heaves a sigh as he ponders his options from the entrance of the stable, weather the heavy rain and high winds would make travel worth while*

“Hey Mr drake!” *the stable operator, ember says*

“Oh, uh drake is fine mr ember.”

“Heh, well I wanted to thank you for coming out all this way, and owning to the *hem* weather, I thought you could stay the night!”

“Oh, it’s nice but I’m a bit light on the rupees at the moment, and I’d rather not take up a bed another could us-“

“Nonsense! You’ve done all of us favors time and time again, it’s high time someone repays you for your generosity, spend the night why don’t you?”

“…” *drake ponders the offer, after another flash of lightning roars across the plains however, drake makes up his mind* “ember you drive a hard bargain. I guess I don’t have a choice do i?”

“WONDERFUL!” *ember exclaims* “I’ll see to it your bed is made, and you’ll be able to leave in the morning, hang tight sir!”

*drake chuckles and continues watching the rain while ember makes him a place to sleep, something about this weather keeps him on edge, probably just nerves…*

…

A dark and stormy night…
