How to use new AirPods and how to sell old earbuds

Finally decided that I’m gonna buy the app3. I’m waiting until Amazon prime day to buy them to see if a few bucks are shaved off the price, but I’ll buy them regardless.

Though I have never owned or used earbuds before. I am familiar with touch controls via the earbuds themselves from having JBL earbuds and would assume AirPods are the same? Just confirming you can control playback, noise canceling, volume, etc. all from touch controls?

And finally, what is the best way to sell old earbuds? They are JBLs, and I wouldn’t expect people to come running to buy them, especially with app3 just recently dropping. I’ve had them up on social media stories and on eBay, but no bites yet.
