Why is killing goats, sheep, and hens okay, but not cows, dogs, and cats?
People look at meat shops with interest, while the butcher is killing goats, sheep, or hens right in front of them. But they can’t stand seeing a cat, dog, or cow die in a road accident. There’s no reaction or sympathy for hens, sheep, or goats, but when cows, dogs, or cats die, people suddenly feel sympathy. Innocent animals get killed with no sympathy, but when cruel humans die, everyone shows full sympathy.
