Can we just to take a moment to appreciate Black Swan? I mean, look at her! She's beautiful! Her design and character are so unique, and Arryn Zech did an absolutely wonderful job bringing her to life!

Black Swan has always been my favorite character after Acheron and I'm just so obsessed with her. I find her role as a Memokeeper very fascinating, and the fact that she is benevolent due to her nuanced and respectful approach to memories, despite her mysterious nature. Unlike other Memokeepers who may steal or alter memories, Black Swan shows a clear understanding of the risks and ethics involved.

Her dedication to Remembrance isn't just a duty — it's deeply personal. Her lore reveals she watched her mother struggle with amnesia, each forgotten moment a piece of the woman she loved slipping away. That experience left a lasting mark on her. To Black Swan, memories aren't just fragments of the past — they're the threads that hold a person together, the echoes of who we were that shape who we become. It's why she holds them so sacred, treating each one as a precious seed of the past with the power to influence the future.

Black Swan disapproves of Memokeepers who twist memories for personal gain, stating that such a "crude approach" violates her sense of aesthetics. This contrasts with other groups like the Cremators and Memosnatchers, who deliberately corrupt or destroy memories based on their own biases.

For all her enigmatic qualities, Black Swan is not entirely detached. She appreciates the "vibrant energy" of the Astral Express and its crew and appears to genuinely want to establish a memory with them, showing a warmth that other Memokeepers lack.

I hope all of this explains why I love her so much, and once again, wishing an awesome birthday to Arryn and thank you for giving Black Swan such an incredible voice!
