Dip Pen Suggestions
I use a dip pen and my shimmer inks to make large dates to start my journal entries. I've been using a brass Kakimori nib, because I want some line variation to show off the shimmer. But I'm not getting the hang of it. Either I get a thin line and have to go back over it, or I seem to wind up with a big glob of ink that takes a couple of minutes to dry. Also it's very scratchy. I've tried a glass dip pen, which is more consistent, but even scratchier. So I'm wondering if there might be a better option, like some kind of calligraphy dip nib. I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have to offer. Thanks!
