Work not gettong done because I'm roped onto mail wars

I switched jobs and started working with an Indian company recently which falls under the public sector. The hostility is unreal. The entire day I'm just responding to nasty messages. Mails from subordinates, peers and senior leadership.

For me, when I reply to such mails, It's taxing. It sucks my time and messes my energy. I've already hit the burnout stage. And after showering me with hostility and making sure I can't work, I am questioned on what have I done so far. Collaboration is non existent and communication is weak. Just faff.

All anyone does is send mails, play politics and make sure no work gets done. It's been a harrowing experience.

I used to crib about my corporate life in general, but honestly these idiots have made me be more grateful towards the private MNC culture. Even that's not great but it's never been this bad.
