Who will pay taxes if AI gets all the jobs?

Since most of the companies are gravitating towards AI, the taxpaying workforce is on the brink of elimination. But doesn’t this in turn hurt the government that almost hundreds if not thousands of people suddenly couldn’t pay taxes. I’m talking about international people since I know that natives will be taken care of by the government. I’m relatively new in Germany and don’t have too much knowledge about the system but just thought about this question.
