My curls were angry. Bondox calmed them down (without killing the pattern)

I have thick 3A/3B curls — the kind that shrink, frizz, and revolt at the first sign of humidity. After years of experimenting with co-washing, LOC method, and the whole CGM philosophy, I finally accepted that my curls needed something deeper. Not just moisture — but repair.

Enter Nutree Bondox.

I’d always avoided “smoothing” products. I didn’t want to lose my curl pattern or end up with helmet hair. But Bondox isn’t a straightener. It’s a fiber reconstructor — and it’s curl-friendly.

I followed the steps:

  1. Clarifying wash
  2. Towel dry
  3. Apply Bondox generously
  4. Wait 10–15 minutes
  5. Blow dry + flat iron (I used low heat because I didn’t want to flatten the curls too much)

The result? The frizz was gone — completely. My curls weren’t looser, they were just more defined, hydrated, and silky. No crunch, no stiffness, no weird residue. I could still style my hair the same way, but everything looked... cleaner. Polished. Like my hair had slept well for once.

This treatment didn’t “straighten” me — it just made my curls happy. That alone makes it a keeper.

🧴 Want to try it on your curls? I have a few Bondox samples I’m giving away — DM or drop a comment and I’ll send one your way.
