Gold or Platinum

Hey everyone, getting some advice from experts.

I previously have held all three chatge cards for AmEx, but currently have the green. AmEx is offering me 90K points for $2K 6mo spend to upgrade to the gold, and 50K for the platinum.

Id like to have platinum again, and take advantage of all the new benefits (I travel a lot), but the extra 40K in MR points they're offering me for gold is hard to pass up.

Thoughts?
