how can i log in to app store on iphone 4

Hey! I found my old iphone 4 from 2012, and I want to make it as usable as possible. Is it possible for me to log into app store? I used a trick i found on the internet to log back into my icloud, but when i try to log into app store it says "cannot connect to iTunes store" is there any way to bypass that? My current ios version is 7.1.2 and the phone is jailbroken.
