Today’s truth: Speed without vision is just motion. If you’re building with ChatGPT, be meticulous or you’ll ship a blur.

My Day-3 rule: Before I write code, I clarify vision. Before I hit publish, I check the details.

5-Minute Vision One-Pager (try this):

Who it’s for: (real user, context)

Job-to-be-done: (what they hire this for)

Promise: (one sentence outcome)

Non-negotiables: (must work offline? single click? tone?)

Anti-scope: (what we are not building this week)

Meticulous Checklist (before shipping):

✅ PRD updated (what changed today)

✅ Acceptance criteria written in plain language

✅ “Failure first” test list (what could break)

✅ Naming/version is consistent

✅ Simple telemetry: What question should logs answer tomorrow?

In-chat ritual with GPT:

Start: “North Star today is ___; success looks like ___.”

End: Recap PRD → list 3 TODOs → 1 open question for tomorrow.

Vision gives you direction. Meticulousness gets you there.
