Hey, I have a problem with the open beta.

So, I downloaded the open beta but whenever I try to play the open beta it asks me to preorder the game? I was informed the open beta was free. Was I misinformed? I clicked download open beta but it takes me to cod hq and asks me to preorder. I apologize if this was a dumb question.
