Has anyone married an immigrant spouse and helped them to US citizenship?

I 25 m am dating a guy 28m. He came to the US legally. We are thinking of possibly getting married soon. I have been researching a bit of the process. I am just wondering if any other gaybros have already gone through this with their partners. How was the process for you?
