Looking for a sublease & considering a move to NYC — best time to move?

Hey all, I’m looking for a sublease in NYC and exploring the idea of moving there long-term. I’ve visited a bunch of times and fall more in love with the city every trip. For those familiar — when’s the best time to move in for a sublease (price, availability, etc.)?
