Why do people keep saying Rockstar is super greedy (PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION)

I wonder this because Rockstar didn’t even really milk GTA Online, it took so long to get GTA VI started because of RDR2, COVID, and changes with how rockstar treated employees and many important people leaving the company.

People also say things like GTA Online was a shark card money grabber from the start and again, I don’t know why. Shark cards have gotten more expensive because the GTA economy was ruined because of players greifing and the flying vehicles they had to make to combat it which resulted in more cars they could use to grief and prices being changed to make it harder to grief.

Rockstar doesn’t want you have a lot of money, not so that you can buy shark cards (nobody even buys shark cards anyways) but so that they don’t have to inflate prices even more.

GTA+ exists because they needed more money for GTA VI or just to receive a little bit of income since GTA Online has been a bit dry (most employees are working on GTA VI) and even if GTA+ was designed to be a greedy, money stealing service, it’s still worth it considering you get a bunch of games for free, free weekly cars, the ability to claim money from businesses anywhere, double money, and other things
