Fellow bellhops/valets at ski resorts, how much do you make?

I am applying for a position at Beaver Run resort, and they are asking what my desired salary should be.

The pay listed on the job application: Position starts at $16.00 - $18.00/hrs. + DOE + Tips

I have some experience working as a Valet/Bellhop, so how much should I list on there? I don't want to list too low and get taken advantage of, and I also do not want to list too high and be overlooked.

Based on this, how much should I expect to make with tips?

In your opinion, how much should I list for my desired salary?
