Man with gun in The Kings Head

At about 6pm, I was walking passed the Kings Head with some family from out of town. One had to take a whizz, so they went in to use the bathroom. I wanted to show one of the family members the original 1600’s mantle piece just inside the door. As we were going inside I noticed something weird. A man who came out before we went in closed the big front door (it’s usually left open) and tried to lock it.

We walked in and a drunk man was sitting at the door by the fireplace and was very chatty. As I tried to leave he tried to grab me and me pull me in to him. I shimmied away and we went out the door. Didn’t think much of it.

We were outside at the front waiting for our family member to come back from the bathroom, and when we came back he told us someone had a gun inside. The place empty and a very shaken barman told my family member to leave immediately because there was a man with a gun. The man with the gun at this point was outside on the front patio sitting at a table alone. It was the same man who tried to grab me.

A minute later the guards arrived. We saw them patting the man down. We were all standing there talking about it about 15 feet from the man. A tourist walking by heard us talking and said she saw the guards taking a gun from the man.

Did anyone else see this?
