Injury recovery

My 13 year old just got diagnosed with a torn ACL from football. He plays basketball and football because it's fun, but lives and breathes baseball. It's unlikely he'll play the 2026 season, but I'm hoping to get some ideas from other parents what to expect from this injury. Thanks.
