Aldosterone test abnormal, hypertension

I have been having odd BP issue recently, I always have been a little hypertensive, but in Dec I woke up with a screaming headache and my pressure was 240/130. The ER lowered it to 150/95 and I went home. Oddly prior to that attack my pressure was 90/70. Long story short, my pressure started building up again, mostly the diastolic being in high 90's to low 100's. I break out in sweats a lot, when I laugh my pressure is 135/130, I get dizzy a lot or when I am excited etc.. My cardio ran some tests and my renin was 0.14 (low) and my Aldo/PRA Ratio was 42.9 (high). I was supposed to do a 24 hour urine test but I have to be off my meds for 3 days and thats not doable right now. It's frustrating to say the least since I have terrible commination with my cardio. Is this something I should be concerned about?
