Name some of the cruelest moments on Knots Landing

The people of KL did so e nasty things but what were some that were really cruel?

The one that jumps out to me was when Jill faked the letter from Ben to Val and then spliced the fake phone recording together... To make someone believe a loved one is alive and returning is about as cruel as it gets.
