Kaplan Practice Questions

I have a question about the kaplan practice tests. do they actually mirror the difficulty of the test? I just finished the textbook and immediately took the first practice test and got a 78. I was expecting to do a lot worse because I didn’t review any of the earlier units that I had studied a couple months ago and haven’t really reviewed since.

For context, I used Kaplan for the series 7 a couple months ago and felt like the practice tests were pretty on par with the real thing. Appreciate any insight.
