I started playing online again, and have a trick/advice for anyone experiencing assertions that won't die.

Today I had an assertion that crashed me out. Restarted the software, rejoined the game, the assertion surfaced again and crashed me out again. I did this two or three times, then had an idea. I started the app on my phone (was originally on my laptop). When I rejoined the game, the assertion did not surface, and I had 48 seconds left to finish my turn. The coin I'd gained from played cards on that turn was gone, but I was at least able to continue the game.
