Need help with Body Cam channel

Hello. I’m in the beginning stages of going live with a YouTube channel featuring body cam footage. I have a few questions if you’d be so kind to help me with:

1. Is the primary way to find arrest stories to scour local newspapers for crime content? I’m trying to find a better way for this task (if any)
2. When I submit a records request, does it take months to receive the files?
3. Is using Muckrock worth it?

In the past month I’ve submitted about 6 records requests but haven’t received any files. If you have any tips that’s worked for you and you don’t mind sharing I’d greatly appreciate it! Thanks.
