My three years of free EA charging expired yesterday. Now what?

It was a good run. We used it solely for charging on road trips, primarily for I5 from SIlicon Valley to LA to visit grandkids.

Not sure what we will use going forward. I confess we obsessed a bit over using EA because it was free,but it wasn't always the most convenient. EA has gotten better over the years, but even when it was borderline poor, we still stuck with it because it was free.

There are sooooo many options along I5 that I'm loath to get into the mind set of "we have to use (Tesla, EA, or other) because we have a membership that reduces the cost a small amount."

What do others do regarding joining network programs,v. keeping flexibility when there are loads and loads of options?
