Dutch vs International Students in NL — How do your food habits differ?
Hey everyone 👋 I’m doing a small university project about how students in the Netherlands make food choices — things like what they eat daily, how they shop, and what they miss or love about Dutch food. I’d really appreciate if you could answer a few short questions 👇
- Are you Dutch or an international student (and where are you from)?
- What kind of food do you usually eat on a normal study day?
- Where do you usually buy your food/snacks (Albert Heijn, Jumbo, Lidl, campus shops, delivery apps, etc.)?
- What do you think about Dutch food in general — anything you love or dislike?
- Do you miss foods from home? If yes, what’s hard to find here?
- How much does price affect your food choices?
- Do you look for healthy options, comfort food, or just convenient stuff?
- If a Dutch brand created snacks that mix your country’s flavours with Dutch ingredients — would you try it?
