[Nomos] Tangente Ref. 139 - bracelet or strap?

I know the best thing would be trying both in person and see which one it's better, however I would like to know your opinion. Does the bracelet scratches easily? I heard someone saying that the claps isn't really strong at all and got his watch dropped from his wrist. I have seen some photos and it doesn't look like a bracelet at all, it resembles more of a strap... However I see that everyone is using the actual black strap... Why?
