Compleated 'I have an issue' claim and 'Failed to provide photos' within 48h and transaction released /help & Advice

Collected item on Fri 02 and raised issue immediately to vinted. I sent photos for the 'I have an issue' and contacted vinted with additional photos of the damage.

I was then given a 48h period asking to send photos on Sat 03. That evening my phone stopped working completely.

Today Mon 05 with my new device I downloaded vinted to find that 3h ago the 48h window has closed and payment had been released to seller.

However, even so 48h period has ended, 1 had already sent the photos that was asked of me before I was given the 48h period (photos of inner/outer packaging and damage).

Vinted is saying that doesn't count whilst the photos are literally in the chat and are the first message of our discussion. I have contacted my bank to claim a refund.

After reading some threads I'm now worried that i could get banned for claiming a refund through my bank. I would rather cancel the claim then for that to happen.

Could have some advice please?
