Is there a reason to marry a second generation character in fire emble fates if you are playing female corrin?

Since you won't get a child the only upsides you'll get is being able to use the partner seal and get their support event and their support. Do you marry second generation children often and is it worth it? I find shigure cute but idk if it is worth it. Since I like some of the first generation men as well
