What do you think should happen to make a possible sera redemption arc interesting?
So little question because I'm curious what would it take for a sera redemption to work for you? I've never exactly been crazy about the idea but given I feel it is the way the show will go I've been trying to think of some ways it could work in a way that wouldn't overly woobify her and her actions and would still involve some consequences as well as effort to make things right on her part.
So maybe if she did call of the exterminations and make peace and then willingly either put herself in the heaven equivalent of prison ( if that exists ) for a certain number of years or made herself a fallen angel and went to live in hell for the rest of eternity
And while there she could do work to actively try and improve it for people there and help those who want to rehabilitate and become better in order to make up for the damage she has done.
Or maybe her redemption could involve her dying but in order to protect someone else maybe for example if lute does end up defying orders and attacking heaven again and sera helps stand against her but ends up sacrificing her life to protect a sinner who lute tries to attack
And as a result sera is killed instead but giving her life for the potential good that could lay within a sinner the same people whose good she couldn't bring herself to believe in for all of those years,
As for who the sinner is I'm not really sure? it could be a major character or it could just be a random civilian but that could maybe work as a final redemptive act for her.
Anyway what do you think about the main question? what would make a sera redemption arc interesting for you?
