trying to find a novel I used to read

there's a novel I am trying to find the name of where the main character is cursed to have all magical effects reversed. a cursed sword with -1000 str and that melts your flesh off in seconds makes them almost immortal lol it's been so long ago that I can't remember much else about it other than that
