Black Texans who support gun rights - what does responsible ownership mean to you?
Hey Everyone,
I’ve been really curious to hear from Black Texans who support the 2nd Amendment - or just believe in the right to self-protection - about what responsible ownership looks like in today’s climate.
Do you feel the experience of being a Black gun owner in Texas is different from how others are treated? How do you think race, politics, and community perceptions intersect with your right to bear arms or speak freely about it? Do you feel gun rights and free speech rights are treated the same way for everyone?
I’d love to hear real perspectives from folks across the state - whether you’re in Houston, Dallas, Austin, or a smaller town - about how you see these rights playing out in your own life. 🌻
